Wondering what it is like to do your internship at Contec?👇 Our interns tell their story

Theo, Junior Automation Intern @ Contec Amiens

"This is not the first time that I'm doing an internship at Contec. Last year, I did my fourth year internship at Contec and at this moment, I'm in my fifth year of engineering school. After a few weeks of training to discover and learn a lot of new software, I started working on real projects remotely for the United States. It was a very interesting experience because it allows me to understand and see the problems an engineer can experience. Now, I work directly for the clients on packaging lines in France.I'm proud to say that I will join Contec as a junior automation engineer after my internship!"

Rania, HR intern @ Contec Antwerp

"When I started as an intern at Contec, the HR team guided me through the HR processes step by step. At first I observed several screenings, interviews and follow-ups, after which I started to do my own screenings and even my first follow-up!I was also pleased that my interests were taken into account and that my tasks were divided accordingly. This way I was able to express my creativity but I also developed a project about onboarding. The team atmosphere was very pleasant, also among the other colleagues (despite the current corona situation). I am very satisfied that I was able to gain my first experience at Contec!"

Josué, Junior Automation Intern @ Contec Amiens

"Contec gives me a step by step guidance on how to become an automation engineer.Coming from a general engineering school, I never really had the opportunity to do PLC programming and understanding it's intricacies. At Contec, not only do I get to improve my programming skills, but I also get to go out into the field and see what a real project looks like."

Yanick, Junior Automation Intern @ Contec Antwerp

“The thing I like the most while working at Contec is that I'm always busy and never standing still, the variation of PLC-programs I get to work with and the people that work there. When I have a question of some sorts there are always colleagues ready to answer them.”
