"CPMS 3 automates a large part of the administration so that operators can focus on the machines and the actual process. CPMS does this on the basis of information received from external systems such as the ERP, but also via signals and data from the machine and line controllers. In this way, all data is also centralised and easily made available to managers, quality inspectors and operators]".

Duracell in Heist-op-den-Berg understood that the range of papers, Excel sheets and other software needed to be replaced by a much lower number of integrated software packages. This was not only to relieve the burden on shop floor staff and make it easier to admit temporary workers, but also to get a better view of the production process and to greatly reduce the number of software licences and associated maintenance. The Automated Packaging department decided to join forces with Contec and opted to install our in-house developed production software CPMS 3 on the shop floor.
